Create Named User Licensing Package

Click "Create a Package", select Named User Licensing, choose platform (Windows/Mac), language, and other options. For Acrobat-only, select Acrobat Pro DC.

Customize Package (Optional)

Use the Adobe Customization Wizard to configure installer options (e.g., skip registration, set organization name). For named user deployments, leave serial field blank.

Build and Download Package

Complete package creation. Download the package to your local machine. For macOS, use Adobe Package Downloader to complete the download.

Deploy Package to Client Machines

Deploy using one of the following methods:

- Double-click installer (Windows: setup.exe, Mac: .pkg)

- Use command line (Windows: setup.exe --silent, Mac: installer command)

- Use third-party tools (SCCM, JAMF, ARD, Munki, Intune)

User Sign-In & Activation

End users launch Acrobat Pro and sign in with their credentials to activate the license. Periodic internet connectivity is required for license validation.

Manage Updates

Use Remote Update Manager (RUM) or create update-only packages in Admin Console. Optionally, set up an internal Adobe Update Server (AUSST) for bandwidth savings.

Monitor License Provisioning
