Acrobat and macOS

Generally, Acrobat works the same for Windows and macOS. Some exceptions are noted throughout Help. In addition, be aware of the following differences:

Open the Preferences dialog box

To open the Preferences dialog box in macOS, choose Acrobat Pro > Preferences.

Expand a nested list

Items such as bookmarks sometimes appear in nested lists that can be expanded or collapsed. To expand a list in macOS, click the right-pointing triangle to the left of the icon. Click the down-pointing triangle to collapse the list. To expand or collapse all items in a multilevel list, Option-click the triangle.
